Use wax paper

Every time you clean the bathroom sink, the faucet becomes dotted with water spots and finger smudges within a couple of hours. The easy way to avoid this: After cleaning the faucet, buff it with a sheet of regular wax paper. The paper will leave behind a light (invisible) residue that will repel water droplets and body oils, so the metal will look spotless for days.
